It was ironic because I was also the associate producer for the previous midday show for which the P&K Show eventually replaced.

It was nice to hear the back story; and, all the details of what was going on behind the scenes while I was still working for the other midday show; and how things eventually came to be that they replaced us.

Overall, working with Pugs was some of the most memorable moments of my life.

I still have nearly every show we ever did from 2001-2003 archived on mp3 and over the last couple of years I've revisited those shows and relived the memories.

I've been in Vegas, now, for the last 10-years ever since my departure from their show. Throughout the years, I've always entertained the thought of one day working with Pugs again in some capacity.

Pugs, glad to hear you are still living the dream and doing what you do best, my friend.......maybe our paths will cross again, someday.......I certainly would welcome the opportunity.

Although we havent communicated much since I moved to Vegas, we are facebook friends. I might have to give him a call next time I'm back in Dallas and see if he might like to grab a pound of beef fajitas and share some conversation over few Irish whiskys.......

Long live those LIVE 105.3-FM memories; and, long live Chicago's very own Blue Island boys Enuff*Z'nuff; who I just hung out with last week when they played here in Vegas.

Chip Z'nuff and I, briefly remenisced about how it'd been nearly ten-years already, since Pugs had surprised me by bringing him into the studio when they were playing at the Hard Rock in Dallas back in 2003; Pugs knew they were one of my favorite 80's bands.

For those of you that don't know about the band, just buy their 2nd album, "STRENGTH", and you'll see why.......even Pugs and Rolling Stone magazine have both commented on what a phenomenal album it was.

Anyhow, thanks again, for the enlightening interview.

Keep up the good work Margaret!!!

Bobby Garza
bobbyfever72@yahoo.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3997099392555638136.post-42002678326862604882013-06-29T21:21:10.215-05:002013-06-29T21:21:10.215-05:00Just got done listening and loved the interview! F...Just got done listening and loved the interview! Found you through a search and glad that I did. I'll be looking up Pugs now as I do most of my radio listening over the internet since moving from Chicago a year and a half ago to the Phoenix area. I grew up on the westside off of Division & Austin. Yes, there is a westside!

Have to agree, Dahl sounds like a complete ass but I think most of us knew that after his break up with Garry. Keep up the good work!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3997099392555638136.post-6844011149339265262013-06-25T00:20:46.825-05:002013-06-25T00:20:46.825-05:00Thanks for listening! Thanks for listening!Margaret Larkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06421277669200495407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3997099392555638136.post-68765297477966752362013-06-24T18:43:10.426-05:002013-06-24T18:43:10.426-05:00I'm from the northeast and Pugs and Kelly alon...I'm from the northeast and Pugs and Kelly along with Live 105.3 helped make Dallas feel like home to me after I moved here. Thanks for your down to earth interview with Pugs and for the back story of their journey to Dallas.
