Lee Abrams, who changed FM radio through Album Rock, consulted MTV, was the first employee at XM Satellite Radio, helped various bands including his friends Yes, and has done a lot more in the media, talks about broadcast radio, TV, research, the music business, online outlets, newspapers, satellite radio, music labels, bands, mainstream culture, the Tribune Company, his ideal media company, and more. He's a creative, open-minded, nice, successful guy who isn't snobby because he agreed to participate in this micro-media outlet :D

Interesting insights and history of a major boat-rocker in the rock media business.
Lee has some great observations. It's obvious he is disappointed with what radio and other media has become.
Spot on Lee as always.
Lee is an interesting guy. Attempts to portray himself as an innovator when in fact his whole play was to the laggards, the guys driving around the parking lot of Mc DOnalds listening to Bad Company & BTO in the 70's. He handed jocks liner cards and packets for constructing the sound hour. Two Fer Tuesday, a lot of bland crap. Yet he know is reborn as a creative force? Let's face it he's smart, but he came around at the right time.
Lee is a smart guy, but he sounds sloppy and arrogant about his views on the newspaper business. Not really very articulate on the medium either. I don't see any vision, just a lot of easy critical takes on the business. He really had no qualifications to do the job.
